Dreams, Hopes and Illusions

We hope that our dreams come true, our dreams are our hopes, but are our hopes and dreams mere illusions????!!!!!
And if they are, do we stop hoping? Do we stop dreaming?“I hope your dreams take you………..to the corners of your smiles, to the highest of your hopes, to the windows of your opportunity and to the most special places your heart has ever known.” This quote aptly describes my collection for this show, each painting is a reminder that never give up on your dreams, never let your hopes turn into mere illusions!!! Surround yourself with beauty, make peace with all, spread love and joy, enjoy your success, strive for power but never forget to thank god, the greatest illusion, but also the force behind all our hopes and dreams!!!!The silhoutes in my paintings represent people all over the universe, after all dreams, hopes and illusions too are universal. Don’t we all dream of being surrounded by love, peace, joy and beauty? Don’t we hope for success? Don’t we strive for power? Do we work towards fulfilling our hopes, of living our dreams or do we accept them as illusions, fading away with time????

    Varsha Vyas

At first glance, she looks like the typical, multi-tasking homemaker, soft-spoken, humble and shy to a fault. But as soon as you mention art, Varsha Vyas’ clear, twinkling eyes light up even more.
